PROFESSOR TOTO CULTURE TIME

                                                 February 17th, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the LWFC at Kids' World location and

                                                         February 20th, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Rochester Athletic Club

Professor Toto Culture Time is FREE and open to the public. Parent/caregiver and children 2 to 12 years of age are welcome to come and learn Spanish through Professor Toto and learn about the culture in Spanish speaking countries.

Take advantage of this free class that will be held on February 17th, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the LWFC at Kids' World location and on February 20th at 10:30 AM at the Rochester Athletic Club! For the first 10-15 minutes, children will watch a segment from the Language Workshop For Children's Professor Toto animation - winner of six major children's educational media awards!

Professor Toto teaches kids to speak another language through colorful characters, child-friendly situations, LWFC songs, and humor. As they watch, sing along, repeat, and laugh, kids build vocabulary and absorb Spanish grammar.

Then for 5 minutes, the teacher tells kids about the culture in a Spanish speaking country. After that, the kids are on to a 10-15 minute arts and craft project followed by 10-15 minutes of movement, play, and traditional songs from that country.

 

PLEASE NOTE

Professor Toto Culture Time and the Language Workshop For Children at Kids' World classes are very different programs. LWFC classes are language immersion environments so teachers only speak Spanish. But in Professor Toto Time, the teaches speaks both English and Spanish. LWFC at Kids' World events are open to children 2+.

We will start taking reservations on the first day of February, the month of the event. (We're sorry but we can't take names before then)

* A parent or caregiver must remain in the classroom of reception area at all times,

* Attendance limited to one event at the LWFC at Kids' World location or at the Rochester Athletic Club per family.
