2. The LWFC at Kids' World will offer a 10% rebate  as a way to reward your support. We will write a check based on the income received from your students' tuition. The 10% will go back to the school/organization for supporting our foreign language program. Instead of having the foreign language as an expense, it becomes a source of revenue. Parent volunteers receive 25% off tuition for their contribution and assistance.

The Language Workshop For Children was founded by Francois Thibaut over 37 years ago. In the early 1970’s, Mr Thibaut came to the United States from France to begin a career teaching foreign language. First, he started teaching college level, then he began offering french classes to children up to age twelve, calling himself the French Workshop for Children. Through his own teaching experience, Mr. Thibaut began researching the best way to teach so the kids not only speak the language but also to understand what they were saying. He kept track of the visual aids that got the most laughs and the most recalls, added songs and music and movement. He experimented with physical activity, humor and repetition and created this program that has made him so successful: The Thibaut Technique®.

His method combines carefully structured curriculum and a child's innate love of play. Children's minds are engaged in animated classes that systematically use original LWFC songs, games, time-tested visual aids, and many more. In this method, children learn naturally and not by translating. First they hear, then they understand, and finally they speak. Children are immersed in their new language through native speakers and learn to speak with an excellent "business standard" accent. Classes are limited in size, so each child can be nurtured and encouraged. Classes for preschool age children are 5-10 students, elementary and middle school age classes are 5-15 students and are grouped by age whenever enrollment permits.
